The Troutdale Dining Room

The Troutdale Dining Room is Troutdale Kitchens flagship Venture. Situated in a completely restored, elegant 1850 Victorian house, the Troutdale offers a unique dining experience. Chef Jassen Campbell and Executive Chef Jeremy Holst seasonal menu is influnced by regional ingredients. Troutdale Dining Room has been awarded the prestigious DiRoNa International Award of Excellence for fourteen years running and has been featured at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City.

Troutdale Bistro
Troutdale Bistro is an Italian influenced bistro concept, featuring housemade pastas, local meat, produce, and cheese. Troutdale Bistro seeks East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia artisans, farmers, and craftsmen whose dedication and passion for food create the finest ingredients possible. We bring these fresh, natural, organic, and sustainable products straight from the farm to your table.

Chef Jassen Campbell and Excutive Chef Chris Walsh work closely with local farms through Appalachian Sustainable Development (ASD) is a not-for-profit organization working in the Appalachian region of Virginia and Tennessee. Formed in 1995, ASD focuses on developing healthy, diverse and ecologically sound economic opportunities through education and training, and the development of cooperative networks and marketing systems. ASD links consumers with farmers and producers and provides hands-on opportunities for learning, advocacy and civic engagement.
