Troutdale Wins Wine Enthusiast Award

BRISTOL, TN ? The Troutdale Dining Room, the Tri-Cities' only five-star restaurant, has been honored with Wine Enthusiast magazine's Award of Distinction for 2007.

The Award of Distinction recognizes those restaurants who distinguish themselves both in dining quality, and in "delivering the most wine-friendly experience" to patrons, according to Wine Enthusiast editor Adam Strum. The Troutdale Dining Room will be featured along with other winners in the February 2008 issue of Wine Enthusiast, available January 9, 2008.

Certified sommelier Charlie Berg, who is studying to become a Master Sommelier, is on hand at the Troutdale to assist patrons in choosing from among the over 100 wines offered at the restaurant. The Troutdale wine list is available online via the restaurant's website at www.thetroutdale.com.

The Troutdale Dining Room has received numerous awards since owners Ben and Debra Zandi purchased the restaurant in 2001. Previous accolades include the prestigious DiRoNA Award, Wine Spectator Magazine's Award of Excellence, the International Restaurant and Hospitality Rating Bureau's International Award of Excellence, and the National Restaurant Association's Award of Excellence.
